Ephesians is a dramatic presentation—a word-for-word dramatization of Paul's letter to the Church at Ephesus. Paul is under house arrest in Rome and dictates at least four letters from his Roman imprisonment: Philippians, Colossians, Philemon, and Ephesians which is uniquely different from his other letters in the New Testament. There are not the personal references here as in other letters and is more like a sermon message or even perhaps an encyclical meant for wider distribution.
The presentation can be used in various settings and varying formats: a stand-alone performance for a special event with any group, a combined community church effort in a large venue, a fill-in sermon when you are away or called out on an emergency. The presentation is a bit unusual. It is contemporary in an orange jump suit with restraints but can be in a suit and tie or robe for a Sunday morning sermon, or informal casual dress for any occasion.
Let the Word of God speak to you and your people as you become the Ephesian gentile church to whom the great apostle is addressing his message. Let the words come alive and speak to your heart and be a means of renewing and transforming your lives.
It is the Word of God, pure and simple—no commentary. The New American Standard Bible Updated Edition is used so you will receive the most literal, contemporary rendering of the original Greek text.
Pray that as you consider using this ministry lives will be forever changed to the glory of God.
